Kevin Stanton - Deputy Sheriff Fatality - Florida

Deputy Sheriff Kevin Stanton, age 32, died on February 17, 2018, on a highway in Brevard County, Florida.

Deputy Sheriff Stanton was a member of the Brevard County Sheriff's Office. He had over 10 years of service. He was a training officer.

Kevin was on his way to work and was driving his patrol car on Interstate 95 near Titusville. Just after 5:00 a.m, a tire on a semi-trailer blew out. The truck swerved into Kevin's lane and into his vehicle.

Tragically, Kevin was mortally injured and succumbed to his injuries.

Kevin is described as a man who was a loving friend. He was helpful to others, bright and upbeat.

The members of the Brevard County Sheriff's Office are in mourning over the death of their brother. Kevin was a well-liked and well-respected member of their team. He was one of the good guys. Kevin will be forever remembered.

Kevin's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He was greatly loved. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.

Oceans of tears have been shed for Kevin.

Kevin is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members who will forever miss him.
