Landon Weaver - State Trooper Fatality - Pennsylvania

Trooper Landon Weaver, in his early 20's, died in the line of duty on December 30, 2016, in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.

Trooper Weaver was a member of the Pennsylvania State Police. He had one year of service. He was assigned to the Patrol Unit in Troop G in Huntingdon.

After 6:00 p.m. Landon and another trooper were called out to a domestic disturbance at a rural mobile home in Huntingdon County. Someone at the dwelling had reported that Jason Robinson, age 32, was violating a protective order.

Landon was shot by Jason Robinson who then fled the scene. 

Tragically, Landon succumbed to his injuries. 

Jason Robinson was shot and killed by Police on December 31, 2016. Jason Robinson had an extensive prior criminal history.

The Governor of Pennsylvania stated: "Landon will always be remembered for his bravery, his sacrifice, and his willingness to serve."

Landon was a graduate of Central High School in Martinsburg and was a dean's list student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, majoring in criminal justice. 

The members of the Pennsylvania State Police are in mourning over the death of their young brother. Landon was a hero. He will be forever remembered.

Landon's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.

Landon is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members including his wife.

Thank you for your service to Pennsylvania, Landon.

Pray for justice for Landon.

God save us from the psychopaths. They are killing us, Father. Amen.

Pray that Landon is in Heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
