Sunny Ravi Patel - a Victim in Cleveland Heights, Ohio

Sunny Ravi Patel, age 15, died on October 14, 2016, at a hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

Sunny was helping out at a fast food restaurant, Mr. Hero, located in Cleveland Heights. The restaurant is owned by family members. 

Cleveland Heights is a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. 

Before 8 p.m., a thin man about 6 feet tall entered the restaurant wearing a white rag over this face. He had on sunglasses and a black Nike sweatshirt. This man was intent on robbing the restaurant. He shot Sunny in the head, grabbed money from the cash register and fled the scene. 

Sunny was rushed to a local hospital where, tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.

There is a $5,000. reward for information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of the person responsible.

Sunny was a student at Mayfield High School.

Sunny's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He was a good kid who was just starting out in life. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.

Sunny is survived by many loving friends and family members including his mother and father who will forever miss him.
