Jimmy Khela
During the afternoon, Jimmy was working at his job at the convenience store in North Fort Worth.

At about 4:30 p.m., a man with a bandana over his face, entered the store with the intent of robbing it. The thief jumped over the counter and shot Jimmy despite the fact that he was co-operating.

If you have any information about this crime, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 817 469-8477.

The shooter is described as a white or Hispanic male, mid 20's in age.

To the thief who killed Jimmy Khela, we ask this question: What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?

Jimmy had emigrated from Egypt several years ago. He was working at the convenience store and at a second job at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. He was learning Spanish to better communicate with many of his Hispanic customers.

Friends describe Jimmy as friendly, talkative, helpful and generous to everyone. He had a kind spirit.

Pray for Jimmy and for
those who have lost him.
Jimmy's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He was loving and was loved in return. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.

Jimmy is survived by many loving friends and family members including his wife and his young children.

Pray for justice for Jimmy.

Pray for all who go to work and who die there.

God save us from the thieves. They are killing us, Father. Amen.

Pray that Jimmy is in Heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
