Monterrious Daniel - a U.S. Military Fatality in Kuwait

Pfc. Monterrious T. Daniel, age 19, of Griffin, Georgia, died June 12, 2015, at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, in a non-combat related incident.

The cause of his death has not been released as of this posting.

He was assigned to the 68th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 43rd Sustainment Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colorado. Monterrious was an ammunition specialist.

He was in Kuwait as part of the American military offensive against ISIS in Syria and in Iraq. 

Monterrious attended Griffin High School.  He was a good student and a well-liked member of the school band. He was a good kid who will always be remembered by his teachers and his classmates.

He entered the Army in April of 2014 and arrived at Fort Carson in October of 2014. He was deployed to Kuwait on February 16, 2015.

His awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.

Monterrious' loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He did his best. They are proud of his service to his country. He will be forever mourned.

Monterrious is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members.

Pray for all who die suddenly. They are with us one moment and are gone before we can say goodbye. 

Pray that Monterrious is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
