Alvin Cochran Jr. died on June 23, 2015, at a hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.

Alvin Cochran Jr.
On June 20, 2015, at about 9:00 p.m. Alvin had been riding his motorcycle when he was struck by a vehicle.

He was lying at the side of the road and his motorcycle was on fire.

Bianca Walker was driving by and stopped to provide assistance.

Alvin wanted to talk to his wife and Bianca dialed the number on her cellphone.  Alvin's wife, Tammie, answered the phone.  Bianca said "You don't know who I am but I'm here with your husband and he's been in a terrible accident."  She held the phone to Alvin's ear who cried and said to his wife: "Babe, I'm hurt. Come and get me."  Tammie replied: "I'm coming to get you." Those were the last words he spoke to his wife.

Alvin was rushed to a local hospital where tragically he died 3 days later, surrounded by his loved ones.

William Trexler, age 44, has been charged with felony DUI.

who have lost him.
doped up on street drugs or prescription drugs or if you are falling asleep on your feet, do NOT drive. Call a family member or a friend for a ride; or take a taxi or a bus; or stay where you are until you sober up; or crawl home on your hands and knees. It will be better for you and for the world if you do.

Regret can last a lifetime.

Alvin's wife, Tammie, has met and has thanked Bianca Walker for coming to the aid of her husband.

Alvin's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He will be forever mourned.

Alvin is survived by many loving friends and family members including his father Alvin Cochran Sr., his mother, Ramona Huff; his wife Tammie Cochran; his son Alvin Cochran III and his daughter, Alaisia Cochran.

Pray for justice for Alvin.

God save us from the drunk and the doped up drivers. They are killing us, Father.

Pray that Alvin is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.

God bless Bianca Walker and all who come to the aid of strangers. Amen.
