ISIS is a terrorist organisation which claims religious and political authority over all Muslims. Its ambition is to establish a "caliphate" to control Muslim regions of the Middle East including Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Cyprus and parts of Turkey.
Jihadi John wears a black mask and black clothing. He has an English accent. He then proceeds to go on a rant in support of the Islamic State (ISIS).
And then he saws off the heads of his captives with a serrated knife.
He has cut the heads off of at least five hostages. He seems to get off on the killings.
Jihadi John is actually Mohammed Emwazi, age 26.
He was born to Iraqi parents who moved to neighboring Kuwait but were refused
citizenship. They then moved to England in 1994 when he was 6 years old. He attended the University of Westminster in London studying computer science.
He went to Syria early in 2013 to join ISIS. Prior to this he may have tried to join another terrorist group, Al-Shabaab in Somalia, with whom he was obsessed.
Former teachers state that he was a good student but had been bullied at school. An Internet firm in Kuwait, where he eventually worked, described him as a great employee and as "calm and good with people".
If the U.S. or Britain can pinpoint where he is located, he will be blown away in a drone attack and so will all of those standing near him. In the interim, the U.S. Senate has approved a $10 million bounty for information leading to his capture.
Mohammed Emwazi is insane and is a psychopath. He personally knew the captives he beheaded. It's sort of an unreal and macabre situation in which you say "Hello Dude. How are you today? I'm going to have to cut your head off but don't take it personally."
The fear and pain that these beheaded captives suffered is unspeakable.
We pray that Mohammed Emwazi is captured and brought to justice to stand trial for his atrocities.
God save us from all religious extremists and from the psychopaths. They are killing us, Father. Amen.
