David Marsh - a Store Clerk killed in Murray, Utah

David Marsh, age 62, died on March 23, 2015, at a hospital in Utah.

David Marsh
David was a 25 year employee of a convenience store in Murray, Utah.

On March 18, 2015, David was working the opening shift at the store which started at 6 a.m. Customers walked in and found him with a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

Surveillance video shows two men in black hoodies and bandanas over their faces rushing into the store at 5:37 a.m.  David opened the cash register and gave the robbers some cash. As they were leaving the store, David threw the cash drawer toward one of the men. One gunman turned and shot David Marsh.

If you have any information about this crime, you are urged to call the Murray police at 801-840-4000.

David was taken to a local hospital.  Tragically, he passed away 5 days later.
Light a candle for David.  Light his way
to Heaven.

His employers said that David was part of their family. They are shaken.

Friends stated that David treated everyone with respect. He was pleasant and uptempo with all of his customers. He liked to cheer people up. He liked to joke.

We put this question to the thieves who killed David: What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?

David's loved ones are devastated over his senseless and tragic death. He was a loving and giving man. He will be forever mourned.

David is survived by many loving friends and family members including his sister, Sandi Baxter and his daughter, Kansas Marsh.

Pray for justice for David.

Pray for all who go to work and who die there.

God save us from the thieves. They are killing us, Father.

Pray that David is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
