Grant Ronnebeck - a store clerk killed in Mesa, Arizona

Grant Ronnebeck, age 21, died on January 22, 2015, at a convenience store in Mesa, Arizona.

Grant was working the night shift at the store. Around 4:00 a.m., a man walked in and wanted a pack of cigarettes. He handed over a handful of change. It has been reported that the man wanted the cigarettes right then. Grant is believed to have said that he had to count the money first. As Grant was counting the change, the customer pulled out a gun and shot Grant, fatally wounding him.

Grant died at the scene of the crime.

The shooter fled the scene but a description of his car led the Police to look for him. He had to be chased for 25 miles before he crashed the vehicle and was apprehended.

with murder. He is in the country illegally and has a previous charge for burglary.

Grant had worked at the convenience store for over 4 years.

His friends and coworkers are devastated over his death. They describe him as dedicated and well-liked. He had a constant smile. He had a big heart, and was a loving and outgoing young man. He tried to do his best.

Grant's loved ones are devastated over his senseless and tragic death. He will be forever mourned.

Grant is survived by many loving friends and family members.

Pray for all who die young. They barely had a chance to live.

God save us from the Lost Ones who stalk the Earth stealing away life. Amen.
