Selena Thomas and Alfred Martinez
Alfredo Martinez, age 39, is in custody for a parole violation and has not been charged with Selena's death as of this date. He was her boyfriend.

Alfredo Martinez told the Police that he and Selena had gotten into an argument. He hit Selena in the head with a hammer, wrapped her body in a sheet, put her in the trunk of his car and buried her in a cornfield near the Snake River, with the help of three other men.

Alfredo Martinez has a previous history of domestic abuse and violence and has served time in prison.

In addition, Jose Cruz Flores, Daniel Francisco Sena and Jorge Luis Garcia have all been charged in connection with Selena's death. There are many conflicting stories among these men as to who did what in this crime.

Co-workers and friends describe Selena as a single mother who was good-hearted and pleasant to be around. They noticed that Alfredo Martinez was extremely possessive and
Jesus, pray for Selena and
for those who have lost her
controlling of Selena. Some of them felt that Alfredo was stalking her.

Selena's family are devastated by her needless and tragic death. She will be forever mourned.

They advise any woman who is with a man who pushes or slaps you, to get away and seek help before it's too late. You may want love, but abuse is not love.

There is a fundraising website if you want to contribute to funeral expenses at "gofundme.com".

Selena is survived by many loving friends and relatives including her mother, Lori Moon; her sister, Sara; and her teenage son.

God save us from those who say they love us, and then kill us. Amen.

Pray that Selena is in heaven. Pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
