Jadin Bell - bullied to death in Oregon

Jadin Bell, age 15, of La Grande, Oregon, died on February 3, 2013, in Portland, Oregon.

On January 19, 2013, Jadin had attempted to hang himself on the school grounds of Central Elementary School in La Grande. He was rushed him to Portland and Doernbecher Children’s Hospital where he was placed on life support. Doctors found little brain activity, and he was removed from last support last weekend and died soon thereafter.

Jadin was a sophomore at LaGrande High School. He was openly gay and was bullied as a result of his openness. It was reported that he was bullied in person and on the Internet because of his sexual orientation.

At one point, he had asked his parents to home school him as he feared that turning in the bullies would make things worse.

Angels of God, pray for Jadin
The school district is now investigating these events and meeting with a mental health agency to discuss how the school can better handle such serious issues in the future.

And let's hope the School District gets with the program and steps up to the plate to put a stop to bullying like this. It's the 21st Century, for Jesus' sake.

Friends remember Jadin as a gentle and caring kid, who could make others smile.

Pray for those who are tormented unto death. Amen.

Let us pray that Jadin Bell is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.

If he asked his parents to home school did they not see how horrible the situation was for him? If thats the case, how sad that his parents let him down to protect him in a way they could have.
Sweet, sweet boy. I hope he is at peace now.
